CDIB Capital Further Strengthens Its Team with New Managing Director and Four New Hires

Hong Kong, October 5, 2015

CDIB Capital International Corporation ("CDIB Capital"), the private equity arm of China Development Financial Holding Corporation ("CDF"), expands its regional presence and strengthens its team by promoting Steven Wu to Managing Director and by adding four newly hired professionals to the Hong Kong and San Francisco offices: Grant Lin joins as Senior Vice President on the Investment Team, Margaret Sang as Compliance and Administration Vice President, Elizabeth Lee as Investor Relations Assistant Vice President and Nicole Sham as Fund Accountant.

Steven Wu has been promoted to Managing Director, based in CDIB Capital’s Taipei office. He focuses on sourcing, underwriting and portfolio management of investments in the "China-Taiwan" vertical. Prior to CDIB Capital, Steven served as Senior Vice President at China Venture Management, an investing affiliate of CDF. Prior to CDF, he was Senior Vice President at WI Harper (Taipei) and oversaw deal sourcing, investment evaluation, and portfolio management. Before joining WI Harper, he was Vice President of the Investment Department at Central Investment Holding Company, the largest investment holding company of the KMT Business Management Committee.

Grant Lin joins as a Senior Vice President in CDIB Capital’s U.S. office. He is focused on sourcing, underwriting and portfolio management of investments across the "China-US" vertical. Prior to joining CDIB Capital, Grant was an Executive Director in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley based in Hong Kong covering the consumer and retail sectors in Asia. Prior to his role at Morgan Stanley, he was an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong. Prior to UBS, Grant was an analyst in the Mergers & Acquisition division of J.P. Morgan & Co. in New York.

Margaret Sang joins as Compliance and Administration Vice President, focusing on legal and compliance related processes and controls. Prior to joining, Margaret served as Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer at SK Securities in Hong Kong. Before SK Securities, she was at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., serving as business manager of the Private Capital Asia division. Prior to J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., she was at TVG Capital Partners in Hong Kong where she oversaw operations, compliance and fund administration.

Elizabeth Lee joins as Assistant Vice President Investor Relations, working closely with the investment team in reporting to and maintaining relations with Fund investors. Prior to joining, Elizabeth was part of the Special Investments team at Goldman Sachs & Co., focusing on the alternative investments platform. She began her banking career as an analyst in Goldman Sachs & Co. private wealth management based in Hong Kong.

Nicole Sham joins as Fund Accountant, and will be working closely with our Finance and Middle Offices. Prior to joining she served as a Fund Accountant and Senior Fund Accountant respectively at the Private Equity Services division of Citigroup (Asia) and at HSBC in Hong Kong. Before that, Nicole served as an Audit Assistant at Mable Chan & Co.

Following the recent close of CDIB Capital Asia Partners L.P., CDIB Capital’s positive momentum continues at pace.
